The Palais du Roure possesses a rich iconographic collection relating to Jean-Henri Fabre, as well as two oil painted portraits of the entomologist.
The Palace of the Roure also presents :
- a rich collection of Provencal furniture of the XVIIIth and XIXth centuries,
- a painted wall canvas of the XVIIIth century,
- ethnographic collections of Provencal and Camarguaise artefacts (manger figurines, costumes, popular art, old tools...),
- a set of drawings and canvases by the Belgian painter Henry de Groux,
- a library and a center of Mediterranean documentation.
Entry is free, times of opening,:
Monday to Friday, 9 am to 12 noon and 2 pm to 5 pm.
The apartments and the collections can be visited on Tuesday at 3 pm and by appointment:
